The child has one intuitive aim: self development

Our first field trip

A little bit of history was written last week with the first day trip of our children out of school for a visit to Ecolor furniture factory. Last Wednesday, our Year 3 & 4 group had the wonderful chance to apply knowledge studied in Geography lessons to a real life example: once the students made the difference between local and global, and interviewed Mr. Carl Widell, Managing Director at Ecolor, they visited the factory itself- the business has built its global connections by making furniture with local materials and human resources. It was our first trip outside of school and the students were representing it proudly.
