Cambridge Examination Results

A Cambridge education with results recognised by universities worldwide.

Our Results

Royal School in Transylvania is the only school in Cluj-Napoca where the Cambridge curriculum is taught exclusively in English, from ages 3 to 19.

As a Cambridge International Examinations Centre since 2017 and a proud member of COBIS — the Council of British International Schools — our students sit the same examinations as their peers in the United Kingdom and across the globe.

Our graduates leave Royal School with qualifications recognised by universities worldwide, and a foundation of independent thinking, academic rigour, and intellectual confidence that prepares them for whatever comes next.

Royal School Cambridge IGCSE MFL German highest score worldwide

Highest Score Worldwide in MFL German

Theodore Jarc, a Year 13 student at Royal School in Transylvania, has achieved the highest score worldwide in MFL German at the Cambridge IGCSE examinations.

Having moved from Germany at age 7 and spent his formative years in China and India without access to formal German instruction, Theodore relied on self-directed study and family support to keep his German sharp, until he joined Royal School, where Ms Anastasia Revnic's teaching helped him turn that dedication into a world-class result.

We couldn't be prouder!
