The child has one intuitive aim: self development

Royal School goes green

This week, our students from Year 7-8 had an introduction to Royal School’s Green Flag Projects. They talked about important topics such as energy, waste minimisation, water, transport, healthy living, biodiversity, school grounds and global perspectives.

Our school is is committed to promoting green education and is part of the Eco-School programme*.

*Eco-Schools is an international programme for environmental education and management, which aims to raise students’ awareness of sustainable development issues, through classroom study as well as school and community action. With the emphasis placed on a democratic and participatory approach, the programme encourages children to take an active role in how their school can be run for the benefit of the environment.
