Biography

David’s academic and professional journey is a rich tapestry that spans continents, disciplines, and cultures. Educated at the esteemed universities of Valladolid in Spain and Rome in Italy, he holds degrees in History and Art History. David’s passion for music, a constant since childhood, led him to the prestigious Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, where he earned a Diploma in Jazz and Contemporary Music Guitar. His pursuit of knowledge didn’t stop there; David also acquired a Master’s Degree in IT for Education from the International University of La Rioja in Spain, a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from INESEM in Spain, and a Master of Museums and Museology from the University of Nebrija in Spain.

David’s interests extend beyond the arts and education; he is deeply engaged in politics and public speaking. He has a notable history in debate competitions, having won the Spanish National Debate Competition in 2000 as a student and later nurturing debate clubs and competitions globally as a teacher.

Though David’s career began in the music industry, he has dedicated the last two decades to education, teaching, and serving in various leadership roles under the Spanish, American, and British curricula in Spain, Italy, Azerbaijan, and now Romania.

He is a fervent advocate for holistic education, viewing it as a lifelong endeavor that fosters curiosity and passion for a broad range of subjects. David believes the essence of teaching is to ignite a thirst for knowledge in students, encouraging them to seek wisdom beyond mere facts. His aim is to inspire his students with his own love for literature (especially poetry), art, music, politics, photography, and debating, equipping them to be critical, free-thinking citizens of the 21st century. David’s diverse expertise and dynamic teaching philosophy make him a pivotal figure in shaping the minds and spirits of students at our school, guiding them towards a future where they can confidently navigate and contribute to the world around them.
