Biography
Docendo discimus — “By teaching, we learn.”Mr. Szabolcs believes in the transformative power of education and the joy of lifelong learning. He holds a double degree in English Language and Literature, and Romanian Language and Literature from Babeș-Bolyai University, where he also completed both Level I and Level II of the DPPD (Teacher Training Department). Additionally, he holds a master’s degree in Current Trends in Linguistics from the Faculty of Letters at Babeș-Bolyai University.
Before joining Royal School, he gained valuable experience teaching both English and Romanian in the public education system for one year. Beyond the classroom, he has an extensive background in volunteering and leadership. Mr. Szabolcs was an active member of the student organization OSL (Student Organization of the Faculty of Letters), where he started as an auditor, later became HR Coordinator, and eventually held the positions of Vice President and President.
His passion for innovation in education also led himto volunteer in the “Virtual Reality and Simulation for Pedagogical Courses” program, where he explored modern methods of enhancing classroom engagement and teacher training through technology.
He is fluent in Hungarian, Romanian, and English, and speaks Spanish at an intermediate level.
Outside of teaching, he enjoys music, singing, spending time with friends, reading, and cooking.
