Biography
Denisa, an esteemed alumna of the Faculty of History and Philosophy at UBB, Cluj-Napoca, has charted a notable path through the realms of International Relations and European Studies, culminating in a Bachelor’s degree from 2013 to 2016, and further advancing her expertise with a Master’s degree in Leadership and Communication in International Organisations from 2016 to 2018. Her academic journey is further distinguished by completing Teaching Modules, enabling her to educate high school students and beyond.
Driven by a profound passion for history, Denisa views the discipline as a collective narrative of resilience and courage, a reflection of humanity’s enduring spirit. She is inspired by the indelible marks left by historical figures and is committed to motivating others to contribute their chapter to the annals of history.
During her university tenure, Denisa was actively involved in a variety of projects, embracing roles from volunteer to coordinator, thriving in collaborative settings and fostering the exchange of ideas. This collaborative spirit and dedication to education led her to the Royal School in 2017, initially as a teacher assistant for Year 2 and subsequently as a History teacher for KS3. By 2018, Denisa expanded her role to include certification as a Duke of Edinburgh International Award leader, championing students’ personal development and skill acquisition. Since 2019, she has been imparting knowledge as a Humanities teacher, covering History, Geography, and Business Studies, while also serving as a Key Stage Coordinator for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Denisa’s educational philosophy centers on making learning an engaging and relevant experience, striving to connect students with subjects that spark their interest and enthusiasm. She is constantly exploring innovative pedagogical approaches to enrich the learning environment. As a Duke of Edinburgh leader, her mission is to inspire students to acknowledge the importance of their actions and the transformative potential of stepping beyond their comfort zones for personal and collective growth.
